Notes from the Field

The sweet peppers, fall roots, and savory late summer/fall crops have peaked to help fill the week 17 bag.  Yes!

The retrospect of the season in a viewfinder-of-glimpses reveals a spectrum of actity:

Feb/March: Onion seeding and CSA sign up.

April: field work and steadily cool temperatures

May: Workshare starts, find wire worms in onions

June: Shed goes up, bag share CSA starts, new plan in place for wire worms, wait.

July: Wait some more

August: We have potatoes, zucchini, lots of beans; praises to carrots!

September: Cherry tomatoe town - who doesn't love the husk cherries! (Thank you Nancy Frost)

October: Whew! We all made it!
