Notes from the Field

The moment we've all been waiting for.....

100 days later, from seed to transplant to field to your table - winter squash season is falling into place, how delicious!

Delicata, a local CSA favorite, is in your bag.  A light yellow to orange flesh, and a skin like a potatoe, this squash is versatile: baked, roasted, steamed and mashed, pan sauted.

Enjoy as you will - butter, salt, maple syrup, with pear or apple, savory herbs and cheese or as is.

What's in the Bag

  • Salad mix
  • 1 quart of gold potatoes
  • 1 pint of cherry tomatoes
  • 2 leeks
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 delicata winter squash
  • You choose: pea shoots or beet greens
  • Beans
